Idle Beast Hunter is a free action game for mobile developed by MksiDev. It is an idle adventure featuring pixel graphics and hack-and-slash gameplay. In it, players take on the role of superpowered hunters on a quest to save the world from a beast invasion threatening to destroy everything.
Compared to other games in the genre like Idle Monster Evolution Go or Idle Master: Legend Travel, Idle Beast Hunter is set in a dark fantasy world with a more serious tone. It's more reminiscent of the classic Castlevania games when it comes to its overall aesthetic and presentation.

Idle Beast Hunter takes place in a dark post-apocalyptic setting wherein the mysterious arrival of a beast invasion has ravaged the world and left a wasteland in its wake. A select few called beast hunters set forth to defeat this menace once and for all, and save what's left of humanity. You are part of this special group of individuals.
Combat in Idle Beast Hunter is of the hack-and-slash variety with idle mechanics that make it ideal for on-the-go gaming. There are a variety of different hunters to choose from with unique abilities. Collect coins from defeated enemies to level up your core stats, while the souls of fallen bosses will let you upgrade your heroes' skills. You can also collect various gear with bonus stats from Challenge Mode.
What's more, you can unlock Sidekicks (Companions) to accompany you and provide support during the fight. You can collect all kinds via a gacha system. As of this writing, it is still a fairly new release. As such, game content is rather thin and there are various parts that are not accessible yet. Hopefully, this concern will be addressed promptly in a future update soon.
Shows promise
Overall, Idle Beast Hunter combines easy and accessible idle gameplay with classic dark pixel styling that many fans of both genres will like. In its current state, the experience is a bit limited, but it shows promise and can become great with enough content updates in the future.
